These sessions require you to record a video of your run at a dog trial or of you working your dog/s and you'll get to keep a recording at the end.

Gary White travels Australia and internationally to teach his program to working dog handlers who are looking for an in-person experience.
Schools are held over two days and give you the opportunity to learn through Gary's demonstrations, having a go and receiving coaching as well learning by watching others learn.

How can I slow my dog down around stock?
This begins in the small round yard and developing that partnership with the dog. We address this and teaching your dog a walk up in the session on STOPS.
How can I get more distance between my dog and stock?
Teaching your dog about distance requires the basics of a good stop and walk up as well as the use of training sticks combined with calls. We have a specific session on this in BODY LANGUAGE but also revisit it throughout all sessions.
How can I get a solid recall on my dog around stock?
It's all about timing and respect. We've got a whole session on recalls in the STOPS SESSION including a coaching session.
How can I teach my dog to work off balance?
We have a number of sessions that address off balance work. Does your dog have solid side commands? or a walk up? Start there then progress to the off balance circles and imaginary gateway both in the OFF BALANCE SESSION.
How can I get a good cast around stock?
A good cast starts at the beginning of your training and in the round yard so we recommend getting the whole program access to make sure you don't miss anything get the CAST SESSION.
What is the best time to start a pup in training and in the yard?
We have a few sessions specific to pups and how to support them with different stages of training as they grow. We recommend getting the COMPLETE PROGRAM ACCESS to get the most out of your training for your pup.

Gary White

Gary is a highly respected working dog handler and trainer running 20 – 30 working dog schools a year in Australia and abroad.
He has been trialling dogs since 1992 and has had an impressive career including eight national titles and 22 NSW state titles.
White’s Kelpie Stud, started by Gary's father John, in the late 1950s is one of the first established and longest running Kelpie studs in the world.

Is the online program the same as Gary's Working Dog Schools? YES, the online program follows the exact steps and activities from the working dog school. This platform is: - To make Gary's program accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime - To give school participants the chance to go back over what they've learnt to get their training right when they return home. - To give you the chance to jump in before a school to get an understanding of what's covered. - To give people a more self-paced opportunity to work through Gary's program
I've already attended a school, is it worth me getting the online program? YES, there's so much information to take in at the schools and we had so much feedback about getting the information and techniques online so you can refer to them in the weeks after you attend, so you'll get a lot of value out of it!
What do I actually get in the online program? Each of the sessions has Gary's tutorial, demonstration of the activities and skills, some school coaching sessions so you can see how Gary corrects and fixes issues with people having the same issues as you, as well as a quiz to test your knowledge and understanding of that topic.
If I've attended a school do I get automatic access to the online program? Because this is a seperate product that will continue to be updated and added to, it is an additional cost to the school.
If I buy one of the individual sessions can I still buy the whole program? YES, and you'll still be saving $620. If you love the program after watching one or two sessions and want to get access to the whole program you can jump back in and purchase the whole program.
I'd like help with how to improve my dog trialling skills, is Gary able to help with that? YES, for a personalised approach and specific tips and training exercises to work on to improve your trialling you can book a one-on-one online session. Try to get a video of your run at one of your trials so Gary can work through it with you on where you can pick up more points or find the areas to help you with.
Is Gary's program for city dogs or just working dogs in the country? This program runs through all aspects of training working dog breeds to work stock. However the foundation sessions on respect, recall and body language are all important skills to have even if your dog lives in the city/town. The latter sessions are more specific to stock work and having access to stock to train your dog.
If I attend a school do I get a discount to access the online program? YES, we will be giving a 10% discount if you have attended a school in 2026 already and you will receive the discount after attending any future schools. If you've attended a 2026 school send us an email and we'll send you a code. All future bookings will receive the code after attending the school.
